Surfguia2 surf camp is located at the North Shore of Gran Canaria. This surf camp is waiting for you to experience a fabulous surf time. The surf house offers a true surf atmosphere - very rustic but you'll find everything you need for an ideal holiday. Surfguia2 hosts five rooms, a big living room with a kitchen, dinning room, TV-DVD lounge, terrace in the roof, bathrooms with showers on both floors and a terrace on the first floor. The sound of the waves surrounds you and from the roof deck you can check the surf directly in the morning.

Detailed Description Surf Camp

Surfguia2 is a surf hostel named after the village Guia and two surfguia's (guia means guide in Spanish). Surfguia2 is located on the North Shore of Gran Canaria. This camp can accommodate up to 12 people. The surf hostel provides everything surfers want from a surfing experience.

The sound of the waves surrounds the surf hostel and from the roof deck you can check the surf straught away in the morning. San Felipe is a small village far away of the tourist centers of the south. Directly located on the coast, you'll find a lovely spot to relax your mind and ride your best waves.

The surf school at Surfguia2 caters to courses for all levels. They customize the learning technique for beginners, making your surfing day easy and fun.

Surrounding Area

Surfguia2 is located 20 minutes (by car) from the island's capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. By bus, it takes between 45 and 60 minutes. Connections are good, both by bus and taxi. San Felipe is a small seaside neighborhood, a very quiet area, full of nature.

Cenobio de Valerón an archaeological site is in the municipality of Santa María de Guía is also very close, it hosts a spectacular communal grain store excavated in volcanic rock which dates back to before the Spanish conquest. It is listed as a protected archaeological area.

The caves are open for visit. Visitors may enter on their own or take the guided tour offered by Cenobio staff.

In the center of the island is Roque Nublo (Spanish meaning the "Clouded Rock"). Is a monolith feature that is 80 meters tall. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the island of Gran Canaria. The elevation is 1,813 meters ranking it second on the island and one of the tallest in the archipelago. It is municipally located in Tejeda, a few kilometres from the town centre. It was formed from a volcanic eruption around 4.5 million years ago.

Arrival Information

By bus, travelers mus head north on the highway. Once in Las Palmas, bus travelers should make the transfer at the San Telmo Park station. Here, you head northwest along the coast and get off at San Felipe. From there, it is a short 15 minute walk to the northwest.
