When it comes to Poland, images of the beautiful cities of Kraków or Warsaw come to mind.SURFMAG releases second issue of its magazine
Sportbay likes to think of the Wilanów Palace or Collegium Maius.
Other images of torrid historical memories and a series of uncouth jokes also come to mind. However, images typically not associated with the Land of Poland are those of men atop floating boards skimming along curling, white-tipped waves.
But that is all about to change.
According to Surfers Village, one of our go to sources for some of the best water sports news on the net, the second issue of SURFMAG has just been launched.
SURFMAG is an online magazine centering on surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakebording longboarding and art. And it is all aimed towards its Polish clientelle.
As the first magazine of its kind to ever hit the streets of Poland, the magazine’s creators are excited to bring this sort of content to the citizens of Poland.
In addition, the centerpiece of the second issue of SURFMAG centers around two models who talk about what is hot in Poland. Tongue in cheek required.
Issue No. 1 also is still available online.
Throughout the magazines innards, water sports connoisseurs will find 150+ pages full of articles and artwork representing Polish surfers, kiters, windsurfers, photographers, artists and more. The hope is to promote water sports among Polish people. The magazine editors admit that they “have limited access to waves in our country (the Baltic sea can be very unpredictable)” but insist the “general interest in surfing in Poland are growing rapidly.”
In addition to online versions of the magazine’s, SURFMAG also hosts a website full of similar information revolving around the Polish water sports scene.
The Sportbay Team is all to familiar with the trials and tribulations in the world of start ups and encourages everyone to check out SURFMAG if they love water sports.
